Shipping Containers as Grocery Stores

09/26/11

Seattle Weekly blogger Hanna Raskin reported a new project called Stockbox funded by Kickstarter, which turns small containers into grocery stores.

The article "Teeny Tiny Grocery Store Now Open in Delrodge Parking Lot"
highlights a new concept for infill grocery and fresh produce distribution using mobile stores constructed from shipping containers.

The possibilities both for urban and rural locations are endless.

Good luck STOCKBOX!
