An American idea to help the homeless of the world?

Here is a twist on my usual blog entry. The title links to a CNN article entitled "Shipping Containers could be dream home for thousands." These three college kids from Notre Dame University came up with this simple idea. They have formed a company called PFNC stands for "Por Fin, Nuestra Casa," (Finally, our own home). A prototype in place, and they even have specific ideas as to where to locate them first (Juarez Mexico).

I begain to think this could be a solution for homeless and those living in substandard housing throughout Central and South America. I thought it was a great way to reuse the containers, and build a bridge out of poverty.
